Relish in the beautiful landscapes and sea of Amorgos, Greece for 6 nights and 7 days. This retreat is an absolute dream that provides an exquisite venue for deep nurturing and self-care. Each day will deliver 2 yoga classes; an enlivening morning class and a grounding afternoon/evening class. These classes will allow for the cultivation of ritual; a daily, intentional practice. This experience will provide the opportunity to deepen one’s yoga practice and other self-care practices that can be accessed through the venue and island of Amorgos. Self-care is your birth right so that you may be present and whole for your external world. All are welcome!

There will be plenty of free time during this retreat to relax on the beach or by the pool, to use the spa amenities (indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, & hot tub) hike, explore, scuba dive, go on a tour, a boat ride, enjoy the local shops/markets and more.

You can expect to leave this retreat feeling centered and whole in your being. A sense of renewal and lightness with a greater knowledge of how to tend to your own energy in all aspects of one’s life.

Aegialis Hotel and Spa is a beautiful, family-owned and run 5 star establishment in Amorgos, Greece.  Enjoy a stunning view of the Aegean Sea, a short walk to one of the best beaches on the island, and all of the hospitality one could dream of in the Greek Islands. According to mythology, Amorgos was the island where Ulysses, returning to Ithaki, was attracted like a magnet by Goddess Kirki, and stayed for many years. Accommodations:

The only 5-star hotel on Amorgos island. This beautifully designed, family-run hotel is nestled on the cliffs of a quiet and peaceful Greek Island. Conveniently located near the bay and within walking distance of sandy beaches. Every room has a simple, elegant decor and boasts views of the sea. The hundreds of reviews comment that the staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and super helpful and most guests leave feeling like they have made new friends. They offer full services, from spa to gym to pool. Come and enjoy an authentic Greek experience.

The chefs provide healthy, gourmet meals that incorporate fresh organic produce from their garden (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free options are provided upon request). Breakfast and dinner are provided. Lunch and beverages are available for purchase through out your stay.

Choose from a single or double occupancy accommodation. Some rooms can have up to 3 people if a group would like to share a room, each with their own bed. All rooms have a view of the Aegean Sea. Up to three people of the same gender per room, each person with their own bed. Friends and couples may room together upon request.

Amorgos is a picture-perfect Greek island. From traditional villages to stunning beaches, this secluded island is everything you imagine when you dream of a Greek holiday. During your retreat, you will have the opportunity to experience the island through various tours and activities. These excursions will give you a chance to discover what makes Amorgos so spectacular. Whether you are learning traditional Greek dance moves, exploring the underwater world of Greece, or hiking through local villages, tours and activities are a great way to make the most of your time in Greece.

Travel: 

Fly into Athens, Santorini, Mykonos, or Naxos. From your decided arrival city, take a ferry to Amorgos. Please note that some ferries make multiple stops and the journey will be quite long.  Look for the high speed ferry with a direct route to Amorgos, which will be running in June.  If you choose to fly to Athens and travel from the port of Piraeus to Amorgos, you can either embark a Blue Star ferry (approximate travel duration: 8 hours) or a high-speed vessel (approximate travel duration: 4-5 hours). If you choose to travel from Santorini, you will embark a high-speed vessel that will bring you to Amorgos in 1-3 hours.  Naxos is 2-3 hours away from Amorgos depending on the vessel. Once in Amorgos, transportation from the port to the hotel is included and will be arranged for you.  It is recommended that you account for the length of travel and spend an extra night before/after the retreat in the Greek city your international flight arrives/departs from.

Paying an initial non-refundable deposit of $350 and $35 Payment Processing Fee (added to the tuition rate upon registration) will lock in your tuition rate and hold your space for the trip. You may also let us know under “Roommate” that you are interested in being paired with an available roommate.  Please note that if you do not have a designated roommate and we cannot find you one, you will be responsible for the room at the single occupancy rate.

We are flexible and want to work with you in terms of monthly payments.  Please note that there will be an upcharge in total cost for payment plans because of extra credit card fees incurred (approximately $100 difference).

FOR THE GREEK ISLAND RETREAT, THE CANCELLATION WINDOW CLOSES NOVEMBER 15, 2022.  

IF YOU CANCEL PRIOR TO NOVEMBER 15TH, ANYTHING PAID UP TO THAT POINT CAN BE ROLLED OVER INTO A FUTURE RETREAT. AFTER NOVEMBER 15TH, PAYMENTS ARE FORFEITED AS THE TOTAL AMOUNT WILL HAVE ALREADY BEEN PAID TO THE HOTEL. IF FOR ANY REASON OUT OF OUR CONTROL, SUCH AS A PANDEMIC/NATURAL DISASTER OCCURS AND THE WORLD SHUTS DOWN, THE RETREAT WILL BE POSTPONED.
