Thatch Caye Resort is a serene, mile-long paradise designed for relaxation, exploration & deep reconnection with the natural rhythms of the sea, your retreat tribe & yourself. Each day, savor three farm-to-table meals accompanied by fresh juices. Begin your mornings with energizing flow practices & wind down with grounding evening sessions; including Yoga Nidra, Conscious Breathing, Somatic Experiencing & Meditation. You’ll also have plenty of time to unwind on the beach & immerse yourself in the beauty of the land.
How You’ll Feel When You Return Home
When you get home (unless you decide to stay!) from your Belize yoga retreat you’ll have a little piece of magical, soulful, iridescent island life in your heart. Expect body and mind rejuvenation & residual happy vibes from this magical island.
What’s Included
- Daily morning vinyasa and late afternoon grounding/embodiment practices with meditation on the open-air overwater yoga deck
- Five nights, six days accommodation in your choice of Oceanfront Cabana or Overwater Bungalow (first come, first serve)
- Three farm-to-table meals per day plus snacks and local beverages (N/A & A available) with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options
- Transportation to and from Belize City when traveling on retreat start and end days
- Exclusive use of kayaks, paddle boards, snorkeling gear, and other non-motorized island toys
- Yoga mats, blocks, straps, and blankets to use for the week
- Taxes and gratuities

Accommodations (details of rooms HERE)
There are two types of accommodations for this retreat. You have the option of choosing an Ocean Front Cabana or an Overwater Bungalow. Each is lovely in its own way and both provide close proximity to the Caribbean Sea. Of course, the Overwater Bungalow is just that. Your room sits directly above the sea.
You have the option of booking your own single/private room (first come first serve) or to share a room with a roommate of your choice or request being paired with someone upon booking (If there is no-one to eventually pair you with, you will be charged the single price of the room).
We collect a 50% deposit from attendees at time of booking, final payment is due 30 days prior to the retreat.
Oceanfront Cabanas have spectacular ocean views, private bathrooms, king-sized or two single beds, air conditioning, and lounge chairs on the patio.

Overwater Bungalow
These spacious bungalows share a large deck with hammocks swaying in the sea breeze. Each has a private bathroom with shower and air-conditioning.

Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommend. Purchasing travel insurance helps to mitigate any unexpected circumstances such as medical issues prior to traveling or while traveling, last minute flight cancellations or personal issues that might affect your trip. Participants have found great rates and policies through Travel Guard.

Traveling to Thatch Caye
You will fly to Belize City (BZE). Belize International Airport is a small airport that provides excellent signage to help travelers get through customs and transfer to your in-country flight to Dangriga. The flight to/ from Dangriga/ BZE is included in your retreat package.
At the point of entry, a passport and proof of return or onward ticket are required. When booking your international flight, please be aware of your landing time. Your arrival flight should land in Belize City no later than 3:45 pm, as the last flight to Dangriga departs at 5:00 pm.
Cancellation Policy
If for any reason you need to cancel your reservation, you will receive a refund of your payment (minus a $400 non-refundable/ non-transferable deposit). No refunds will be given after February 13th (90 days before start date), nor for failure to attend or complete the retreat. If the retreat is cancelled due to a pandemic or natural disaster, you will receive a credit towards a future retreat.
